GVMHA is required to follow the City of Vernon - Return to Play Policy. As of today we are looking at up to 20 players per group with 3-5 Coaches on ice.
Atom Dev and Rep Tryouts - September 8 to September 25: Players will have 2/3 practices and then Hockey Canada Skills testing. Top 20 players (Including 2 goalies) in group 1, then the next 20 players in group 2. Any remaining players will join the Recreation Assessments.
Recreation Player Assessments - begins the week of September 28: Players will have 2/3 practices and then Hockey Canada Skills testing. Even groups of up to 20 will be formed from the test results.

Games may be able to be played moving into November (in cohorts or 4). GVMHA is working with OMAHA/BC Hockey on the policies around this and you will be updated.
There will be 30 minutes between ice sessions. One entry into the building and one exit. No spectators are permitted in the stands and 1 parent can be in the building if necessary. Social distancing is a must, in the building and on the ice.

Come to arena half dressed - you will be sent back out to the parking lot to dress if not
Hand sanitize at the entrance
Doors open 15 min before ice sessions, after ice session you have 15 min to exit building
10 players per dressing room
Half the water bottles on each bench, no sharing of water bottles
One parent is allowed in the rink per player on the ice surface (No others will be allowed inside)
Kal Tire Place NORTH - Enter main doors at KTPN - Exit SW doors Zamboni end (Spectators permitted on ice-level)
Kal Tire Place - Enter at players entrance - Exit stair case left of entrance (Spectators permitted in Section A only)
Priest Valley - Enter SW Main sliding doors - Exit SW Main sliding doors (Spectators permitted on ice-level)
OTR Private Rink - Enter through front door - Exit side door (no spectating area available)
