COVID-19 Safety Ambassador / Arena Info

A new and very important role is in place this season: Team Safety Ambassadors Job Description

These people will be responsible for signing team members into the building 

After the doors are locked (at your ice time) this list must be emailed to gvmhacovidtrace@outlook.com  Must happen within 24 hours of each ice session.

Anyone found not following these policies will be ask to leave the arena - no exceptions.

One entry into the building and one exit.

 

Masks must be worn in all Vernon facilities

City of Vernon Policy on Safety Protocols

Come to arena ready to skate, as close to fully dressed as possible

A mask must be worn inside the Arena's by all patrons (players unless your helmet is on)

Hand sanitize at the entrance

Doors open 15 min before ice sessions, after ice session stay dressed and exit building within 15 minutes

10 players per dressing room

Dressing Room access is limited to shoe, skate changes and washroom use only.  Showers are not available for use

Half the water bottles on each bench, Bring a full personally labelled water bottle.  Water bottle filling stations are available, coma but spouts are not to be used.

Exit dressed and just change from skates to shoes

 

One parent is allowed in the rink per player on the ice surface (No others will be allowed inside)

ARENA PROTOCOLS

Kal Tire Place NORTH - Enter main doors at KTPN - Exit SW doors Zamboni end

Kal Tire Place - Enter at players entrance - Exit stair case left of entrance 

Priest Valley - Enter and Exit through North Entrance, behind the outdoor rink

OTR Private Rink - Enter through front door - Exit side door (no spectators permitted)
